When we welcomed Chhiring Lhamo to our operations crew in 2018, she brought with her an innate organizational calm that immediately transformed how we manage high-altitude logistics. As our Camp Coordinator, Chhiring oversees the complex supply chains and campsite setups that keep our expeditions running seamlessly across the Everest and Annapurna regions. Having grown up navigating these challenging mountain trails, she possesses an intimate knowledge of the terrain and the daily rhythms of remote trekking routes.
Fluent in Sherpa, Nepali, and English, Chhiring is the steady voice on our radio network and the welcoming presence at base camp. Trekkers often remember her for the meticulous care she takes in organizing dining tents, often leaving handwritten notes of encouragement on tables before early morning summit pushes. Her quiet dedication and sharp attention to detail ensure that every guest experiences the warmth of Himalayan hospitality even in the most remote valleys at 4,000 meters and above.
Chhiring spends her off-seasons mentoring junior logistics staff and refining our sustainable waste-management protocols in the Khumbu. Whether she is coordinating yak trains through Namche Bazaar or balancing resupply manifests for a complex Langtang traverse, her steady leadership anchors our entire field team.
