Jungle Safari

Jungle Safari

Our jungle safaris focus on the protected lowland ecosystems of Chitwan and Bardia National Parks, located in the southern plains and western valleys of Nepal. Ranging from 150 metres to 300 metres above sea level, these subtropical habitats support vulnerable populations of greater one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, marsh muggers, and over 500 resident and migratory bird species. We operate multi-day tracking itineraries on foot and by river raft, offering deep access into dense sal forests, riverine grasslands, and oxbow lakes away from heavy tourist corridors.

The dry winter season from October to March offers stable weather and optimal visibility, while the hot pre-monsoon months from April to June provide increased wildlife sightings around shrinking water sources. This terrain suits travelers seeking wildlife observation and conservation-focused exploration without high-altitude physical exertion. Days involve early morning departures, silent tracking walks, and afternoon river excursions where wildlife congregates to drink and bathe.

We maintain a strict guide-to-guest ratio of one certified local naturalist and one wildlife scout per four participants to ensure safety and minimal environmental disturbance. Our team consists of indigenous Tharu guides whose generational knowledge of local animal behavior and tracking sign directs our movement through the reserves. We manage all park permits, logistics, and accommodations in established tented camps and jungle lodges that adhere to strict conservation and community benefit standards.
