At a glance

Trip overview

Our Annapurna Trek with Yoga is a balanced Himalayan journey that combines gentle mountain walking with structured yoga and meditation practice. The route follows the classic Poon Hill trail, known for gradual elevation gain, comfortable daily distances, and wide Himalayan views, making it suitable for trekkers seeking both movement and recovery.

This experience is designed for travelers who want to stay active without pushing physical limits. Morning yoga prepares the body for walking, while meditation sessions in Pokhara support recovery and reflection. The trek moves through Gurung and Magar villages, forested ridges, and panoramic viewpoints, finishing with time for healing and rest by the lakeside.

Rather than focusing on extremes, our journey emphasizes rhythm, breath, and awareness. The mountains set the pace, and yoga helps you stay present within it.

Good to know

Altitude & acclimatisation

Our highest point on this trek is Poon Hill at 3,210 m. Because our daily ascent profiles are gradual and we stay well below extreme altitude thresholds, the risk of acute mountain sickness is low.

Our guides monitor everyone closely and maintain a comfortable group pace.

Fitness expectations

This is classified as an easy to moderate trek with daily walking times of 4 to 6 hours. The most physically demanding section is the stone staircase climb from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri on Day 3.

Regular cardiovascular preparation before your trip will make the daily walking much more enjoyable.

Teahouse accommodation

We stay in local teahouses along the trail, which provide twin-share rooms with basic wooden beds, foam mattresses, and blankets. Dining rooms are communal and usually heated by a central stove in the evenings.

Hot showers and device charging are generally available for a small extra fee paid directly to the lodge.

Yoga and meditation sessions

Our itinerary integrates daily yoga and meditation sessions led by experienced instructors in Pokhara and at suitable locations along the trail.

All skill levels are welcome, and sessions are structured to support your physical recovery and mental focus.
