Tandem paragliding offers an aerial perspective of the Annapurna Himalaya, launching from Sarangkot ridge at an elevation of 1,592 metres and descending toward the shores of Phewa Lake in Pokhara. This activity suits travelers seeking a brief vertical transition without requiring technical mountaineering experience. Flights typically last between 20 to 30 minutes, depending on thermal activity and wind conditions, providing sweeping views of Machhapuchhre and the Seti river valley.
We operate these flights primarily during two distinct seasonal windows. The autumn season spans from September to November, offering stable weather and clear visibility following the monsoon. The spring season runs from March to May, characterized by warmer temperatures and vibrant rhododendron blooms across the surrounding hills. Winter flights are also possible on clear days, though morning fog occasionally delays operations until midday. We do not operate during the peak monsoon months of July and August due to unpredictable wind shear and heavy precipitation.
Every flight is conducted with a certified pilot holding international qualifications, maintaining a strict one-to-one ratio per tandem passenger. Before launch, our team conducts a thorough briefing on harness fit, takeoff mechanics, and landing posture. We use well-maintained wing equipment subject to regular safety inspections. Ground transport from Pokhara lakeside to the Sarangkot takeoff point is arranged directly by our logistics staff, ensuring a structured schedule from departure to touchdown.
